My Spiritual Journey

I left everything behind—career, comfort, certainty—and embarked on a sacred pilgrimage to India. I arrived with nothing but an open heart and an unshakeable conviction that this was where I needed to be.

What I found exceeded all expectations. I was drawn to ashrams and sacred spaces where Vedic monks had dedicated their entire lives to the Awakening of Consciousness. These weren't just teachers—they were living embodiments of the wisdom they shared.

Under their guidance, I was initiated into devotional practices designed to facilitate direct experience of the Divine. The mantras I learned weren't mere sounds to be repeated—they were vibrational keys that unlocked doorways within consciousness itself.

After my years of training, I knew my purpose: to share these transformative practices with seekers around the world. I returned to the West carrying the sacred fire I had received, committed to making these ancient teachings accessible without diluting their power.

Today, based in Los Angeles, I continue to honor the profound tradition I have been blessed to receive. As a Grammy voting member, my music has reached audiences worldwide, but my true calling remains the same: to transmit these sacred sounds with the same precision and devotion my teachers shared with me.

Through Mantra Academy, I offer what I received: the authentic teachings of Sanskrit mantras, presented in a way that honors their depth while making them accessible to modern seekers. My courses guide students from complete beginners to advanced practitioners, providing the same clarity and precision I was blessed to receive from my teachers.

For the past 15 years, I have facilitated circles of sacred music across the world, enkindling a beacon of light in the hearts of listeners and chanters. More than 10,000 students have journeyed with me, and countless more have experienced transformation through my music and recordings.

My concerts, workshops, and retreats have taken me across six continents—from the Himalayan peaks of Nepal to the spiritual centers of Australia, from the ancient temples of Asia to the vibrant cities of Europe and the Americas. I have performed in over 400 events worldwide, including major tours across China (Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, and more), Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Byron Bay), and throughout South America, Europe, and North America. Each performance is an opportunity to share these sacred sounds and witness the transformative power of mantras touching hearts across cultures.
